Looks, performance and price - the new 2016 Honda Civic Coupe has it all, wrapped up in a sports car package that delights drivers young and old alike. AutoGuide recently previewed the all-new Coupe version of the Civic line, and reports that Honda has done it right, yet again. Click "play" on the video clip below to learn more.

TheCivic Coupe takes its styling cues from the redesigned Civic sedan, and this works particularly on the two-door hatchback model. From a size and space standpoint, Honda's engineers have worked magic, slightly shortening the car overall, while creating more space in the backseat, where legroom now totals a remarkable 35.9 inches. The trunk is even a bit larger.

Two different engines are available in the Civic Coupe. The base 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine does its job, but the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder provides more get-up-and-go for on-ramps and passing lanes. A six-speed manual transmission is currently only available with the 2.0-liter engine, but AutoGuide reports that Honda will soon bring the manual option to all versions of the Civic Coupe. In the meantime, an automatic continuously variable transmission delivers terrific gas mileage - 31 mpg city and 41 mpg highway when paired with the 1.5 liter turbo.

The 2016 Civic Coupe is expected to arrive early this spring. Come visit our Hickory, NC showroom to learn more about the Coupe or test drive any of the Hondas in our inventory.
